March to end beagle experiments

Up to a hundred animal rights campaigners set off for St Ives, to march through the town centre. On the way they staged a protest outside Harlan Interfauna's Wyton site. The company breeds beagles for experiments and says all of its laboratories maintain compliance with national animal welfare regulations.

The protest was held on the 22nd anniversary of more than 80 beagles being freed from the company's Wyton site.
