Large sinkhole in Italy swallows car

A large sinkhole in the Italian village of San Felice Circeo has swallowed a car.

Heavy rainfall in the region caused the chasm in the road into which the vehicle fell.

Emergency services say the car was empty when they recovered it but firefighters are yet to recover any bodies or survivors.

Local news reports say one man was washed away by flood waters.
