Horse Racing returns to ITV at 1pm on New Year's Day 2017
The wait is nearly over!
Horse racing returns to ITV on Sunday for the first time in 31 years when Ed Chamberlin makes his ITV Racing debut by introducing live coverage from Cheltenham at 1pm.
The card includes trials for the Cheltenham Festival in March - the Grade 2 Relkeel Hurdle and the Grade 2 Dipper Novices' Chase.
To complement the action from Prestbury Park, Oli Bell will be on hand to present live coverage of the day's racing from Musselburgh.
Viewers can also look forward to expert analysis and comment from AP McCoy, Luke Harvey and Mick Fitzgerald, with contributions from Olympic gold medallist Victoria Pendleton and weather expert Lucy Verasamy.
Commentary will be provided by Richard Hoiles.
