Passers-by lift truck off trapped girl after crash in China
Members of the public joined forces to lift a truck off a trapped cyclist after she was knocked from her bike.
Shocking CCTV shows the young girl cycling down a road in Bozhou City, eastern China, when a truck suddenly crashes into her.
Moments later, a dozen passers-by can be seen running to her rescue.
Rescuer Zhou Huashan said: "I heard a loud noise and came out, then I saw a child was trapped under the pickup, so we hurried to lift the vehicle.
"Over ten people were there and managed to lift the pickup, then we pulled the child out."
The group hoist the truck off the girl before being taken to hospital where she is recovering from facial and leg injuries.
Liu Ping, the girl's mother, said: "If they didn't conduct the timely rescue, my child might have suffocated or died. So I'm really grateful to them."
The girl is said to be in a stable condition and likely to make a full recovery.
