Ex-Spice Girl Geri Halliwell expecting baby at 44

Former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell has revealed that she is expecting a baby at the age of 44.

The singer announced the news on Instagram, posting a sketch of a pregnant woman and the words: "God bless Mother Nature #mamaspice."

Halliwell is expecting the child with her husband Formula One's Christian Horner.

A spokesperson for the singer said: "The couple is overjoyed with the good news and cannot wait to welcome the newest addition to their family."

Geri Horner (as she is now known following her wedding) has a 10-year-old daughter, Bluebell, from a previous relationship with screenwriter Sacha Gervasi.
