Usain Bolt set for historic 'triple-triple'

Usain Bolt won gold in the men's 200m Olympic final - taking him one step closer to winning a historic "triple-triple".

Bolt, 29, confirmed his status as the world's fastest man after winning the 100m final on Monday in 9.81 seconds.

The Jamaican sprinter took gold in 19.78 seconds, ahead of Britain's Adam Gemili in fourth.

Victory takes Bolt's tally to eight gold medals, and moves closer to the "triple-triple" - a combination of gold in the 100m, 200m and the 4x100m relay in three consecutive Olympics.

Bolt didn't manage to break the record as he crossed the line.

Andre de Grasse finished second, while Christophe Lemaitre.pipped Gemili to the bronze medal.
