Facebook to stream Wayne Rooney's Man United versus Everton testimonial live

Manchester United and Everton will make history when they face each other in Wayne Rooney's testimonial on Wednesday, as it will be the first match between two Premier League teams to be streamed live on Facebook.

Rooney has only ever played club football for Manchester United and Everton, with the game marking the forward's 12 years service at Old Trafford.

All money received from the game will be split between four different charities.

Facebook has a global reach of 1.7billion people, with the game being available on Wayne Rooney's and Manchester United's official pages on the social media site.
