Tennis duo Bryan brothers withdraw from Rio Olympics over fears for family's health
Men's tennis doubles duo Bob and Mike Bryan have pulled out of the Rio Olympics over concerns for their "family's health".
The American twins, the most successful doubles team in tennis history, said on Facebook that their family's welfare was their "top priority.
So far, a number of golfers have pulled out of the Games, due to begin on August 5, over fears of the Zika virus in Brazil".
Although not specifying Zika in a statement, the Bryans said it took "hours of deliberation" to opt against travelling to Brazil.
So far, a number of athletes have withdrawn from the Olympics over concerns about the mosquito-borne Zika virus linked to birth defects in newborn babies and possible neurological problems in adults.
A number of golfers have withdrawn, including Northern Ireland's Rory McIlroy.
