Is this the world's tallest dog?
Standing seven foot tall on his hind legs, Major is competing to be crowned the world's tallest dog.
The 12 stone pooch is so big he sleeps on an adult size mattress.
But he faces competition from two other dogs - one in the UK and one in America - if he is to claim the world's tallest title next month.
Despite his size, Major's owners Brian and Julie Williams, from Penmaen, South Wales, say he is a "gentle giant" - and revealed it costs spend £35 a week just to feed him.
Brian told ITV's This Morning Major's daily diet consists of:
2kgs of minced beef, chicken or tripe a day
2kgs dog biscuits
2 litres of milk
Six eggs - which he likes lightly scrambled
And this is the moment the 'world's tallest dog' met the UK's smallest dog.
Emma Robson's dog Chip, a cross between a chihuahua and a sausage dog, measures six inches to the shoulder and weighs about 1.2 kilos.
But despite their size difference, the pair seemed unfazed by each other.
This Morning host Ruth Langsford said: "I think Major's got a bit of an eye for Chip there."
To which co-host Eamonn Holmes quipped: "Yes, he wants to eat him."
Earlier Holmes, who is married to Ruth, joked as he was introducing Major: "Over seven foot tall, weighing 12 stone, but enough about Ruth."
A laughing Ruth hit back: "It is a good job I find you funny isn't it.
"I'll have everyone on Twitter saying 'you're horrible to Ruth'. I wish I did weigh 12 stone!"
