Melania Trump's now-infamous "plagiarised" Republican national convention speech has sparked a frenzy of tweets attributing other famous sayings to the wannabe First Lady.

The hashtag #FamousMelaniaTrumpQuotes trended on Tuesday as the world reacted to a keynote address by Donald Trump's wife that sounded almost identical to Michelle Obama's 2008 Democratic convention speech.

Twitter users appropriated popular lyrics, quotes, sayings and moments from pop culture to poke fun at the 46-year-old former model's speech, in which she said "your word is your bond" before echoing the First Lady's widely-praised 2008 address.
