'It's Zlatan time' as Man Utd complete Ibrahimovic deal
Manchester United have urged their fans to "prepare for fireworks" after completing the signing of Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
The Premier League club confirmed his arrival with a short Twitter video in which he appears from darkness to declare, "It's Zlatan time."
Ibrahimovic left Paris Saint-Germain after the expiration of his contract with Ligue 1 expired at the end of last month.
The 34-year-old confirmed he would be joining the Red Devils on Thursday by posting messages on various social media accounts.
Neither United nor Ibrahimovic have yet confirmed the length of his contract amid reports of a one-year deal with a second optional year.
The fanfare arrival underlines the arrival of one of European football's most charismatic stars as he begins his first season in the Premier League in what is seen as the final big move of his glittering career.
Ibrahimovic has won trophies in many of European football's top leagues in a career that began with his hometown club Malmo in Sweden before spells in Holland, Italy, Spain and France.
The transfer reunites Ibrahimovic with United boss Jose Mourinho after the pair's successful partnership at Inter Milan.
"I am absolutely delighted to be joining Manchester United and am looking forward to playing in the Premier League," Ibrahimovic told United's official website.
"It goes without saying that I cannot wait to work with Jose Mourinho once again. He is a fantastic manager and I am ready for this new and exciting challenge.
"I have thoroughly enjoyed my career so far and have some great memories. I am now ready to create more special memories in England."
Jose Mourinho added: "Zlatan needs no introduction. The statistics speak for themselves. Ibra is one of the best strikers in the world and a player who always gives 100 per cent.
"He has won the most important league championships in the world of football, now he has the opportunity to play in the best league in the world and I know he will grasp this opportunity and will work hard to help the team win titles.
"I am certain that his talent will delight fans at Old Trafford next season and that his experience will be invaluable in helping to develop the younger players in the squad."
