Video shows arrest of alleged suspect in shooting of MP Jo Cox
Footage has emerged of what appears to be a man being arrested in a street in Birstall, West Yorkshire, following the shooting of Labour MP Jo Cox, who has died of her injuries.
In the footage at least five police cars can be seen arriving in the street while a man in a grey t-shirt is handcuffed.
Blood from a head wound can be seen on the road, and the man has a white bandage wrapped around his head by officers.
Jo Cox, the MP for Batley and Spen, was rushed to hospital following the attack, but was pronounced dead shortly afterwards.
She was shot multiple times, and stabbed according to eyewitness reports.
One eyewitness told ITV News the suspect calmly "walked away" after the attack.
Police said a 52-year-old man has been arrested.
