Footage of tiger sharks feeding off of a 50 foot-long humpback whale has been captured by a drone.

The feast, which occurred off Australia's west coast near Shark Bay, is seen to leave a trail of blood across the otherwise clear water.

It was filmed by Eco Abrolhos, a tour company, during a cruise along the coast of Western Australia - one of the country's states.

“Feeding frenzy at Shark Bay - Tigers having a whale of a time,” the firm said on its Facebook page.

Western Australia is known for its large tiger shark population.

Following a number of shark attacks in the state on humans in recent years, the local government launched a controversial cull, where 70 of the sharks were killed.
