Father and daughter found dead inside house

A father and daughter have been found dead at a house in Merseyside.

The bodies of the 85-year-old man and 47-year-old woman were found inside the property on College Road in Crosby on Sunday afternoon.

Neighbours had alerted police after they had not seen the pair for a number of days.

Their deaths are being described as "unexplained" but police believe there is nothing suspicious about the tragedies.

Post-mortem examinations are due to be carried out on their bodies.
