The deaths of film star Debbie Reynolds, and her daughter Carrie Fisher, are the latest among a large number of celebrities to have died in 2016.

From musician Prince, to David Bowie, Sir Terry Wogan, Alan Rickman, Victoria Wood, and Muhammad Ali are just a few others to have passed away so far this year.

Here is a list of the stars to have died in 2016 to date:

  • Singer David Bowie, 69, died on January 10

  • Actor Alan Rickman, 69, died on January 14

  • Eagles frontman Glenn Frey, 67, died on January 18

  • Broadcaster Sir Terry Wogan, 77, died on January 31
