'Ik ben Belge': Images of support shared after Brussels attacks
Social media has been flooded with images of support for the people of Belgium after a series of explosions left "many" dead and dozens injured.
Two explosions were reported at Zaventem Airport in Brussels, while a further explosion was reported at the metro station in the Maalbeek district.
Cartoonist Plantu, who works for Le Monde, portrayed a man sporting the colours of the Tricolore comforting a man sporting the colours of the Belgian flag as they both weep for those lost during November's terror attacks in Paris and the attack in Brussels.
Other images urge prayer, while many have shared pictures of cartoon icon Tintin - which was created by Belgian illustrator Georges Remi - weeping as he mourns the dead.
The official Twitter account of the city of Paris also changed its profile image to the colours of the Belgian flag.
"We are wholeheartedly with the people of Belgium," the account posted.
"Paris prays for you."
