Boy, 10, defies doctors who said he may never walk and leads out Sheffield Wednesday
This video shows the touching moment a boy who doctors thought would never walk led out his favourite football team in front of 30,000 cheering fans.
Joe Danforth, 10, was diagnosed with the rare CHARGE syndrome at birth - an illness which only affects one in 10,000 births worldwide.
Medics told his parents Martin and Nicola Danforth that there was a "slim chance" Joe would walk - but the youngster defied expectations and has learned to walk over the years.
Dad Martin, 45, first posted the video to Twitter showing Joe walking out with his favourite team, Sheffield Wednesday, resplendent in his blue-and-white football kit.
The clip has since clocked up over 10,000 views and almost 6,000 retweets on the social media network.
