Guns N' Roses set to reunite to headline at Coachella festival
Guns N' Roses are to reunite to headline at this year's Coachella music festival in California.
Band member and singer Axl Rose confirmed the news to fans via Twitter.
He will join founding members Slash and Duff McKagan for the 2016 festival.
Slash and McKagan also both posted an image on Twitter and Instagram of the band's logo combined with the Coachella background.
It is the first date to be officially announced by the revived band, famous for songs such as Sweet Child O' Mine and November Rain.
The three have not played a live show together since 1993 in Argentina.
It is not yet clear whether the band will feature the classic line-up with guitarist Izzy Stradlin and drummer Steven Adler.
LCD Soundsystem and Calvin Harris will headline the other nights of the festival.
