The Specials drummer John Bradbury dies aged 62
The Specials drummer, John Bradbury, has died at the age of 62.
He joined the band in 1979 and remained in it after the split and reformation as The Special AKA.
The Specials were famous for hits such as Free Nelson Mandela, Ghost Town and Too Much Too Young.
The band announced that Bradbury - who was also known as 'Brad' - had died on Twitter.
In a statement released by his family, they announced that Bradbury passed away on Monday and paid tribute to a "much loved husband and father".
Bradbury was born in Coventry and joined after the original drummer Silverton Hutchinson left the band in 1979.
He took part in a reunion tour with the band in 2009.
