Charles and Camilla release official Christmas card

The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall have released their official Christmas card.

In the photograph, the royal couple are seen hugging in a natural pose during a personal moment on their annual Scottish holiday in August.

Both Charles and Camilla look relaxed as they smile broadly for the camera in the snap taken by on a private estate.

Clarence House tweeted out the official image which also has the festive message: "Wishing you a very Happy Christmas and New Year".

On the front of the card is the Prince of Wales' feathers and the Duchess' cipher.

It will be sent as usual to organisations and individuals associated with the royal couple.
