Rock star Ronnie Wood, 68, is set to become a father again.

The Rolling Stones band member is expecting twins with his wife Sally Humphries, 37, who owns a theatre production company.

It will be the couple's first offspring together after they married in December 2012.

Ronnie Wood already has four children - Jesse Wood with his first wife, former model Krissy Wood; daughter Leah and son Tyrone from his second marriage with Jo; and Jamie, Jo's son from a previous marriage who Wood adopted.

The couple dated for six months before getting married in a ceremony at the Dorchester Hotel, where Rod Stewart was Wood's best man.

They first met nearly a decade earlier at the Theatre Royal in Drury Lane, where Sally was working and Wood was displaying his artwork.

In an interview with The Telegraph last year Sally described becoming involved with Wood as a "surprise".

Sally, who has never taken drugs and barely drinks, has been credited as being a sobering influence on Wood, who has reportedly been sober since his eighth stint in rehab in 2010.

She told Hello! magazine that the couple do not notice their 31 year age gap - although Wood admitted that his wife sometimes gets mistaken as his daughter.

Sally added: "Maybe it's the old-souls-young-soul thing, but we don't notice it."
