Footballing teams will today put aside their rivalries and stand together to sing La Marseillaise in solidarity with the victims of last week's terror attacks in Paris.

Every Premier League match will have the French national anthem played before kick-off.

A total of 130 people were killed in the attacks, which happened at cafés, the Bataclan concert hall and the Stade de France during an international friendly between France and Germany.

First to take part were Watford FC and Manchester Utd, who stood interspersed with one another to present a united front.

French national Morgan Schneiderlin, who plays for Man Utd, looked particularly solemn as he sang along to the anthem, while some members of the crowd held up 'France' banners.
