Girlfriend of Shoreham victim Jacob Schilt mourns the 'love of her life'

The girlfriend of Shoreham air disaster victim Jacob Schilt has paid tribute to the "love of her life".

Megan Duffy said she was sure her and Jacob would have "grown up, got married, had babies and moved to Brighton" if he was still here.

The pair met during Megan's first night out at Portsmouth University three years ago and had been a couple ever since.

In a statement Jacob's parents called him a "generous, kind, loyal and exceptional young man."

"He loved his family and friends and he loved living life to the full.

"Megan, his girlfriend, has been robbed of the life and future they were planning together," they added.

Hundreds of flowers have been left at a bridge near where the air disaster, which is thought to have killed 11, happened.

So far, chauffeur Maurice Abrahams, 76, and personal trainer Matt Jones have also been named as victims.
