Police investigating 'ginger hate crime' graffiti
Police are investigating a possible ginger hate crime after vandals daubed this on a road in Devon.
The anti-redhead graffiti was scrawled in pink spray paint on the B3227 near the village of Chittlehampton.
And while those responsible may not have red hair themselves they may be a little red-faced now - as they managed to spell the word smell wrong.
The offensive slogan "gingers smel of p***' was left shortly after it was announced a Ginger Pride festival would be held next summer in Devon.
In London, Redhead Day UK, which promises to be a "gingertastic all-day event" will take place in Islington on September 12.
