Singer collapses after wearing all his clothes to avoid easyJet excess baggage charge

A singer collapsed on an easyJet flight from London to Scotland after deciding to wear all his clothes in an attempt to avoid excess baggage charges.

James McElvar, a singer with Scottish boy band Rewind, collapsed from exhaustion after deciding to don all of his t-shirts, jumpers, jeans, jogging bottoms, jackets and hats.

The band have confirmed that James is now doing fine after receiving treatment on Wednesday.

It was not the bands only brush with drama during the quick visit to the capital. They were involved in a car crash which left their vehicle a write-off after having to return home because one member had forgotten his passport.
