A custom built 'Hell's Chariot' convertible which featured in the film Grease, and has been signed by Olivia Newton-John, is set to go up for auction later this month.

The flame-adorned 1949 Mercury, recognisable from a scene where John Travolta's character Danny races his enemy 'Craterface', is expected to be sold for as much as $600,000 and is the star attraction in an auction of cars which have featured in TV shows and films.

'Hell's Chariot' will go under the hammer alongside the 'KITT' car from the original Knight Rider series starring David Hasselhoff, the bright orange Dodge Charger from the Dukes of Hazard and a mustard coloured Chevrolet used in the third Fast and the Furious film.
