Liverpool winger Raheem Sterling is set to tell manager Brendan Rodgers he wants to leave the club in the summer.

The England international has repeatedly turned down the opportunity to sign a new deal at Anfield and the writing seems to be on the wall now.

Sterling's current deal runs until the summer of 2017, and departing skipper Steven Gerrard has encouraged him to stay, but he looks to be on his way out of the club.

Real Madrid and Manchester City have been linked with a move for Sterling, but his destination is unknown.
