In Pictures: 25 years of NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope

Twenty-five years since its launch into orbit in 1990,the NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope has led to an increased understanding of the universe and provided many iconic and stunning images of space.

Some images from Hubble have been compared to famous artworks, including the one below, which is said to resemble Vincent van Gogh's "Starry Night".
