Passengers have lucky escape as road swallows bus

Passengers had a lucky escape after they abandoned their bus moments before the ground fell away and swallowed up the vehicle in Brazil

Video footage shows the passengers being evacuated from the bus just seconds before the stranded vehicle was washed away by flood waters that disintegrated the road.

Within minutes of the passengers disembarking, the bus tips back and disappears into the hole only to reappear on the other side of the overpass as the water's powerful current swept it away.
