Celebrities praise Madonna for 'trouper' Brits performance
Celebrities took to Twitter to praise Madonna after she continued with her performance at the Brit Awards after taking a tumble.
The ITV show's hosts Ant & Dec were among those to jest about the incident on social media while others likened Madonna's cape to a character from The Incredibles.
Madonna revealed she was "fine" shortly after the incident
Writing on Instagram and Twitter, she said: 'Armani hooked me up! My beautiful cape was tied too tight! But nothing can stop me and love really lifted me up! Thanks for your good wishes! I'm fine! #livingforlove'.
Armani later retweeted her post, praising her performance.
Former Saved By Bell star Mario Lopez and Ex Radio 1 DJ Sara Cox were among those to call Madonna 'a trouper'.
But further support flooded in from stars including who Anthony Cotton, who plays Sean Tully in Coronation Street.
However comedian Alan Carr couldn't resist cracking a joke.
Meanwhile many Twitter users picked up on the cape worn by Madonna and used a meme from The Incredibles.
