Wayne Rooney tells Man United star Angel Di Maria to hire Gurkha for security
Following an attempted break-in on his home Angel Di Maria is looking for some added security, with Wayne Rooney offering his advice.
The Manchester United captain has told his team-mate to hire a Gurkha to protect his home, according to The Sun.
Di Maria is currently staying in a hotel with his wife and young daughter after an attempted break-in at his Cheshire home.
Rooney currently employs a former Nepalese soldier to protect his house and grounds, after he and Wes Brown originally hired the Gurkha following break-ins in the area.
A source told the paper: "Angel's wife Jorgelina has been left terrified by the attack and won't go back to the rented house in Cheshire.
"Wayne has suggested a Gurkha like the one who protects his and Wes Brown's places. Their guy has had a decorated career in the Army and no one dares go anywhere near the houses."
