Tributes to schoolboy who died in 'playground incident'
Hundreds of schoolchildren have paid tribute to a classmate who died following a playground incident.
Oisin McGrath, 13, died in hospital on Thursday after he was hurt playing football in his lunch break at St Michael's College in Enniskillen, Northern Ireland.
The school said an "incident" had occurred and "one student became unwell and we sought medical assistance".
A 17-year-old arrested following the incident has been released on bail, pending further police inquiries into what happened.
Oisin's organs were donated to save five lives after he died.
Fellow pupils wore Gaelic Athletic Association jerseys over their school uniforms at the teenager's funeral at Holywell Catholic Church in Belcoo, County Fermanagh, on Sunday morning.
Friends formed a guard of honour as Oisin's coffin was brought into the church.
Those who could not get into the packed church watched on a large screen outside.
A local priest told UTV that the local community had been left devastated by Oisin's sudden death.
Speaking about how the teenager's family are coping, Seamus Quinn said: “They are stunned, numb and utterly shocked, with their hearts broken”.
More than 20,000 have paid their respects on a Facebook page set up to honour the teenager.
In a statement, St Michael's College said Oisin was a "very bright and talented student with a great love of sport".
"Oisin was a lively, out-going boy who was very popular with both staff and students and they have been profoundly saddened by his death."
Northern Ireland First Minister Peter Robinson tweeted that Oisín’s death was "heartbreaking".
"I'll be praying for his family and all those devastated by this sad news tonight," he said.
