Lidl to sell kilts across its UK stores for Burns Night
German discount supermarket Lidl will be selling kilts for under £30 this month in honour of Burns Night.
The discount store says it will roll-out the range of traditional Highland wear across all 610 of its UK stores after a pilot in Scotland saw stock sell out within a couple of days.
The range includes a men's kilt for £29.99. Leather sporrans and children's playable bagpipes will also be on the shelves.
Lidl will also promote Scottish food across its UK network from mid January.
January 25th marks the annual celebration of Scotland's national poet Robert Burns.
