£3.6m stash of cannabis found in tins of olives
A £3.6m haul of cannabis has been found stuffed in more than 1,000 tins of olives in Ireland.
The drugs, which were bound for the UK, were divided into small parcels which had been double vacuum packed before being stashed in the tins.
The 200 kilo stash was seized by customs at Dublin Port. It's thought the cannabis arrived from Spain and was destined for the UK.
A Revenue spokeswoman said: "Investigations are continuing here with international enquiries ongoing in Spain and the UK."
