Bizarre deep sea 'black seadevil' fish captured on video for first time

A strange deep sea fish with a large mouth and glowing antennae has been caught on video for the first time.

The Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute recorded the footage at around 600m underwater earlier this month.

It said the specimen it recorded was about 9cm long.

The rare creatures, also known as anglerfish, are very seldom seen in their natural habitats.
