Lynda Bellingham shared Christmas plans in last interview
Late actress Lynda Bellingham shared how she planned to spend Christmas with her family during a moving final interview on Loose Women.
In the interview, recorded earlier this month on the ITV show, she told how she was "obsessed" with Christmas and was determined to see one more.
The 66-year-old died in the arms of her husband Michael Pattermore at the weekend after choosing to end treatment for her cancer.
During the interview by Coleen Nolan and Janet Street-Porter, she insisted she would make it to another festive season.
Speaking of her plans for the festive season, she said: "We're going to go to the hotel and have the meal, but just my little bit of control - we're going home for pudding and presents, it's exciting."
She also joked that she didn't want to put her husband Michael, who was in the audience, through the ordeal of cooking for 16 people again.
Bellingham said she would be getting a real Christmas tree, despite protests from her husband.
"Hey I'm getting one, I'm getting a real tree. He'll just have to struggle out of the window with it afterwards, that's fine," she said.
Bellingham went on to say how she wished to be remembered: "Just as an honest person. Honesty. We've been through this as Loose Women - you can't do Loose Women unless you're honest."
Reflecting on the past year, she said: "What's been so wonderful this year is that I've learnt so much from people. You know when you get so cynical in life - they say yet again you're not right for this part.
"You learn so much and the biggest thing - as you know I'm not very confrontational, I'm a bit of a weed, of course I've become a bit grumpy - it's amazing to be able to say things to people. It's taken me 66 years to find any dignity."
