Chewbacca breaks up fight between Mr Incredible and Batgirl

Chewbacca was forced to step in to break up a fight between Mr Incredible and Batgirl.

Tensions between the costumed characters spilled over on Hollywood's Walk of Fame yesterday as Mr Incredible launched an attack on Batman.

But in astonishing footage, captured by production company FilmOn.com, the character from Star Wars grabs Mr Incredible in a bid to pull him off his costumed rival.

Freddy Krueger and Where's Wally also attempted to calm the situation as stunned tourists watched on.

After breaking free, Mr Incredible can be seen attacking the woman again, knocking her to the ground before being restrained.

A Batman performer told CBS that, much like the comic book characters, there are good sidewalk superheroes and bad sidewalk superheroes.

"“The good ones, we’re stationary, we’ll stand against the curb, people come to us,” he said.

"“But the bad ones they roam up and down, so they cross paths or they target the same people, and then they get into each other."

Police are now said to be reviewing the footage.
