Toddler rescued after getting her head stuck in a kettle
A toddler was in need of an unusual rescue after she got a kettle stuck on her head while playing at home in Chile.
The girl's mother told Reuters she was answering the phone when the unfortunate incident took place.
"She arrived with the kettle on her head - she was crying for it to be removed," Daniela Lopez said.
The one-and-a-half-year-old girl, who was not named, was taken to hospital in the hope surgeons could remove the tin kettle.
But the metal proved too tough for the medical team's equipment, and the fire brigade had to be called in.
Firefighters successfully removed the kettle and the young girl did not suffer any serious injuries from her ordeal.
