Fishing crew's shock as giant fish eats shark in one bite

A group of fishermen were in for a big surprise when they hooked a shark, only to see it swallowed whole by an enormous grouper fish.

A video posted on YouTube shows the massive creature loitering as the shark - which was said to be around four foot in length - is hooked.

The footage, said to be shot off the coast of Bonita Springs in Florida, then shows the goliath grouper jumping out of the water and seizing the shark in one huge bite, much to the amazement of the crew.

Goliath groupers are known to operate in the Florida Keys, with sharks, octopuses and barracudas among their prey.
