North Korea's Kim Jong Un visits lubricant factory

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un was all smiles as he visited a lubricant factory.

According to the state run Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) he toured the Chonji facility to learn about the technical specifications and production processes.

He was also briefed on the history of the factory which makes lubricant grease, according to KCNA.

After his visit Kim Jong Un reportedly said that the quality of the goods it was producing were as good as imported ones and "they may have international competitiveness."

He also paid tribute to his late father Kim Jong Il, saying it was a tribute to the "undying patriotic feats" he had performed.

He said: "I feel very sorry for failing to show him this modern splendid factory even once. This factory is a posthumous one."

He also expected the workers to rapidly boost production, according to KCNA.
