'Glamorous' makeover for Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's waxworks
The waxworks of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been given a 'glamourous' new look at Madame Tussauds, two years after their first introduction to the popular London attraction.
The engagement outfits the pair were shown in after their introduction have been changed for a stylish evening wear look.
The wax figure of the Duchess will now wear a full-length turquoise silk jersey gown with three quarter length sleeves and gold embellishment made by ISSA London. Her model will also be given a new haircut and a pair of L.K Bennett Leonie Sledge Court shoes and a Leonie clutch bag.
The Duke's waxy lookalike has been graced with a double-breasted black Gieves and Hawkes dinner suit.
The Royal pair were introduced to Madame Tussauds in April 2012, in time for the real couple's first wedding anniversary and have remained two of the attractions most popular figures.
