A family afflicted from a rare disease that causes excess hair growth have been receiving laser treatment near their home in rural Nepal.

Devi Budhathoki and three of her children, Manjura, 14, Niraj, 12, and Mandira, 7, suffer from Congential Hypertrichosis Langinosa, sometimes referred to a "werewolf syndrome".

Their remarkable transformation has been captured in a series of startling images, in their home town of Kharay, northeast of Kathmandu, before and after their treatment.
