The Sun has apologised to "alien lifeforms" after the newspaper said that it had received a letter from the lawyers for the Church of Scientology.

The apology concerned an article, published on Saturday, with the headline ‘Flying saucers over British Scientology HQ’.

The article claimed that “two flat silver discs” were seen “above the Church of Scientology HQ”.
