Hundreds of people in America queued to meet a feline internet star for a reception more often reserved for Justin Bieber or One Direction.
Eleven-month old Tardar Sauce, or Grumpy Cat, as she is better known, has racked up more than 15 million views on YouTube and been invited to appear on prime time US chat shows including Good Morning America and Anderson Live.
At the annual SXSW festival in Austin, Texas, fans from as far away as Australia queued around street corners to meet the surly short-hair in real life.
With a book deal signed, t-shirts on sale and a Friskies cat food commercial in the offing, Hollywood surely isn't far off.
