YouTube reveals its top ten most popular videos of 2012

From South Korean rap, Space jumps and Justin Bieber doing 'Call Me Baby'. Here's what the world has been watching in 2012 in YouTube's official top ten.

1. PSY - Gangnam Style

With over 988 million views it won't come as any surprise that PSY made it to YouTube's top spot for 2012 with Gangnam Style.

2. Walk off the Earth - Somebody That I Used to Know

This band from Canada covered Gotye's famous song in their own unique way, notching up over 141 million hits in the process.

3. KONY 2012

With over 95 million hits, this film was made to tell people about Joseph Kony, the head of the Lord's Resistance Army, a Ugandan guerilla group responsible for using child soldiers and accused of other crimes against humanity.

4. Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez - Call Me Baby

Singing along to Carly Rae Jepsen's 'Call Me Baby' it's Justin and Selena and so far over 55 million have watched their version.

5. Barack Obama and Mitt Romney - Epic Rap Battles

Not starring the men themselves, but an impersonator and a lot of rapping, watched by 46 million.

6. Dramatic surprise on a quiet square

He broke the sound barrier, spun around and landed on his feet. His 31 million hits are quite impressive too.
