Neighbours arrested after house fire kills woman and two children in Prestatyn
The neighbours a woman and two children who died in a house fire have been arrested on suspicion of murder.
Lee-Anna Shiers and her niece Sky Allen, 2 and nephew Bailey Allen aged 4 all died in the blaze which ripped through the house in Prestatyn, north Wales.
Firefighters were called at around 10pm on Friday night and were able to rescue Lee-Anna's partner, 23-year old Liam Timbrell, and their 15-month old son Charlie, who both remain in a critical condition in hospital.
A 45-year old man and a 42-year old woman from the ground floor flat in the same building were arrested by police.
Friends and neighbours spoke of their shock after the blaze and said that they had tried to help rescue those trapped before fire crews arrived, but were beaten back by the force of the flames.
