Family of 'peace-maker' stab victim Kyle Sheenan appeal for witnesses
The family of a 16-year-old boy who died after been stabbed described him as a "peace-maker" and urged those present when he was attacked to help the police catch his murderer.
Kyle Sheehan, a talented rapper, died a week after being stabbed in the groin. His mother and grandmother said they need justice for their well-liked boy. Rupert Evelyn reports:
His grandmother Gail Lambe said the family had been through a horrendous ordeal since the attack, which took place in Bartley Green, Birmingham.
She described how one of Kyle's legs had been amputated in an attempt to save his life. The 55-year-old said:
West Midlands police said up to thirty people were involved in the dispute that ended his life.
Kyle's cousin said he was disgusted that no-one in the group had come forward to let the family know how he was killed. He said:
