Stars turn out for 'The Dark Knight Rises' world premiere
The stars of the highly-anticipated “The Dark Knight Rises” walked down the black carpet at the movie's world premiere in New York on Monday night.
Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway and Gary Oldman were among the celebrities who attended to see the final instalment of Christopher Nolan's epic "Batman" trilogy.
Bale spoke to Daybreak's Jill Simonian about the movie.
"The Dark Knight Rises" is expected to give the smash hit "Avengers Assemble" a run for its money at the summer box office.
The second film in Nolan's saga, "The Dark Knight," smashed previous box office records in 2008 and won two Oscars, including a posthumous award for Heath Ledger as the Joker.
The film, Bale's last time as the Caped Crusader, hits cinemas on Friday.
