Barack and Michelle Obama embrace on 'Kiss Cam' at basketball game
US President Barack Obama and his wife shared a kiss at a basketball game in Washington last night to cheers from sports fans.
As a camera - known as 'Kiss Cam' - scanned the crowd at the Verizon Center in Washington, it fell upon the unsuspecting first couple and projected the footage on a large screen.
President Obama and his wife Michelle were sitting on the sidelines at the men's USA versus Brazil basketball game.
The couple were joined at their game by their daughter Malia who pointed out to her parents that they were on 'Kiss Cam'.
The crowd cheered and clapped as the President went in for a smooch.
According to pool reports, this was the second time the couple appeared on the 'Kiss Cam'.
The first time, the president held his arm around the first lady and smiled, but didn't kiss, prompting boos from the crowd.
