Cake portrait of the Queen to be baked for Diamond Jubilee
To celebrate the Queen's Jubilee Konditor and Cook bakers will create a 94 square foot cake portrait of the Queen's face.
Today the London bakers did a test run bake through in preparation for the big event in June. The unique cake will be made up of 3,120 mini cakes each one representing one week of the Queen's reign.
Bakery owner Gerhard Jenne noticed there is room for improvement for the real Jubilee cake.
Over 1,000 eggs, 50kg of butter, 150kg of sugar and 36kg of marzipan will be used to make the final Diamond Jubilee cake next month.
